Is that you? Then Click here for a fully downloadable guide to betta fish! It will show you how to give your betta a longer and healthier life!

Betta fish get sick easily. In fact, most bettas in captivity live just a few months! But most diseases are 100% curable if you know what they have, and which medication to give them.

Kepping a betta is easy if you no the right ways to care for them. You cant just put a 2 litre bottle and chuck the fish in there.
These are beautiful fish and do need proper care. Underneath i have supplied some equipment which is needed for this fish.

No they need a proper 5/10 gallon tank minimum! They need:
  • Gravel
  • plants(live preferabbly as water quality is better)
  • filter
  • aeration
  • heater
  • food
You should always have a proper set up ready before bringing home your betta.
Bettas require a warm tropical temperature and slowly filtered water. 74 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit (24.4 to 26.6 degrees Celsius) is in that range. However, 78 to 80 degrees is the 'sweet spot.' A gentle filter is essential to handle water quality, once a fishless cycle has been undertaken first.
All of this equipment is what is needed for even just one betta fish.

The food quality will give your betta fish a better and longer life aswell!
Your Betta's diet should consist primarily of pellets. For special occasions feed frozenbrine shrimp or blood worms. Check the ingredients of your pellets. The first three should be protein based. Experts say protein in the pellets should be no less than 40%. Tropical fish flakes, goldfish flakes, etc are not for bettas..
